Q. Are REALTORS and Real
Estate Agents the same?
A. No they are not. A Real
Estate Agent has a license to practice Real Estate Sales in the state
their license was issued. A REALTOR is a licensed Real Estate Agent
that also belongs to the National Association of Realtors (NAR). In
Nevada they also belong to The Nevafa Association of REALTORS (NVAR),
and a Local Board of REALTORS such as The Greater Las Vegas Association
of REALTORS (GLVAR). The REALTOR logo designates that the agent has
a strict code of ethics to follow and is a professional in Real Estate
Sales.
Q. Do all REALTORS charge
the same ammount of money to sell a home?
A. Real estate commisions
are variable and will vary based upon a variety of different reasons.
Q. What is the best way
to pick an agent?
A. Most will agree that
interviewing is the best way to pick an agent. Each home is different
as are agents. Finding the right agent to help you price, market and
prepare your home for sale is very important.
